This orb has a shadow.  You can see some
other shadows from the sprinkler and the very
top of the headstone that is to the left of the
orb and also the tree limb. So it shows that
there is mass to this anomaly. I believe this orb
to be paranormal. The other orb by the
headstone is actually a defect in the stone.

I screwed up because I deleted all of the
blurry pictures first before looking at all
the photos so I don't have photo #3940
and #3942 in the sequence.

You can see what looks to me to be
the same paranormal orb.
Cropped photo of #3944.
The one on the left is the
original and the one on the
right has auto correction
feature added. The bottom
orb has been color
enhanced. The point to
these orb close up pics is
that it is clearly NOT dust.

The orb photo with a shadow was taken at Evergreen cemetery in the same area where we caught our apparition photo. I have to tell you we personally believe this cemetery to be truly
haunted. We have had experiences that were unfortunately not recorded.  Even though we know this and we have taken hundreds of pictures here, sometimes, we are just lucky enough to
catch a few paranormal photos that we honestly cannot explain. This set (above) is one of them. I did think I heard and saw something as shown in photo #1 but I blew it off. My husband still
kept taking the photos thank goodness and we did catch something. There is still compelling evidence as far as we are concerned that even today with everything that we DO know about
orbs, there are still some orbs that simply cannot be explained away as dust, rain drops or insects. That is what we hope to prove through some of our photos.
We have been here in this cemetery during monsoon season, winter rain, wind and thunder storms, full moons and pitch blackness and even in these conditions, we surprisingly have had
only a few naturally occurring orb pictures with the Canon camera we now use.  Is this absolute proof that this orb photo is paranormal? No of course not,  but this is one that is much harder
to explain away and based on our own experiences and we believe that it is paranormal.
These hair, smoke and other anomalous photos are just an example of how even a strand of hair or a puff of smoke can be magnified in a photo to create orbs as well as moving vortex's and
other strange phenomenon at the smallest point of origin. If looked at close enough however the whole picture changes.  Most times we wouldn't even notice it and if we did we don't think
twice about it now that we know that orbs started showing up with the advent of digital cameras.  So the controversy began and it now seems to be politically incorrect  not to agree that all
orbs are dust etc.  So is it feasible that even the smallest particles of any matter floating around can create an orb from a far away distance if the camera is focused and the light is right? Well
yes, it seems so. That explains dust and moisture orbs for the most part. But understanding how these orbs appear in different situations and why they do not show up in every picture of
course you have to dig a little deeper.  So here a few of the ones we can explain through a lens perspective because we can see them and we know what they are. However, when you add
light and distance how can you compare them to the other orbs that seem to defy the normal principals of light and reflection and motion. Say for instance when the camera is trying to focus
at night.  Through a camera lens with IR it is going to focus on everything at the forefront  of the lens and then try to focus on the brightest focal point in that forefront.  So if it is the brightest
focal point and that focal point has a mass then it must capture that mass and it's light and depending on the angle of it's shadow it will capture that as well. So in we should be able to see
what it is. Does an insect, rain or dust hold that kind of mass and light?  I have never seen a dust or rain orb cast a shadow.  I have seen an insect cast a shadow but if I can see the shadow
then I can see the insect as well.  All I can say is judge for yourself.
In these next pictures I know that what I
am seeing is my hair but if you look
closer you can see why under some
certain conditions, tiny particles such
as dust, dew, Insects, hair etc from
varying distances and also from day to
night could change the whole
perspective of this photograph.  If you
did not know this was my hair I can
easily see, how these anomalies could
be mistaken for paranormal. IE;
vortex's and plasma forming. The point
to this photo is people do capture this
type of anomaly all of the time. At
much further distances it seems but
how can you prove it is not lint or hair
from a certain distance.  Again it is a
lens perspective.  What does the
camera lens see? You can even see
the split end in my hair in the top
streak.
If you click and zoom you can see all of
the moving orbs that are created just
from the tip of one strand of hair.
You can see that they are transparent.
You can also see that some have a tail
of energy behind them as though they
are traveling at a great rate of speed.
There are also cluster orbs.
So, even one piece of hair that I can
see and hold in my hand can be totally
transformed by reflection, light and
wind. Imagine what else can happen
with floating debris anywhere, anytime.
You can see the red streak further
away matches the orange streak on
my hair. So if my hair and head was
nowhere in this photo you would see
that streak and assume it is a
paranormal anomaly. In reality it is light
and lens reflection. Easily explained.
Same photo cropped.
I had this picture on my site for months as paranormal thinking it was
mist because this picture was taken in a museum. I was convinced of
this until I started looking back and rechecking my photos.  I saw the
same clock in the Crystal Palace which is a saloon and you were
able to smoke inside at the time.  I argued with people about this
picture but alas I wasTOTALLY wrong!  GREEEAAATT! Much to my
embarrassment!

Here are orbs a spider web creates. If
taken at the right angle and darkness
this could be assumed to be a
paranormal orb or orbs.
Rain, water and dust seem to create the same kind of orb when looked at close up.  Picture 1 demonstrates what rain and dust looks like together. You can see the rain
drops that look like tadpoles and the dust is the usual round orb. However, a close up of a splash of water or moisture as shown in picture 2 has the same qualities as a
dust orb does. It has an outer ridge or rim and sometimes an inner orb and what looks like to be a face that some people describe seeing in orbs in photos as also
shown in picture #3.
Pictures 4-8 show the difference between dust orbs and street lamp orbs. Pictures 9-11 show what an insect looks like. I am not an expert, I am just demonstrating based
on my own experiences what my opinion is. Clearly many people have their opinions as well but the truth is none of us know the truth as it is right now.  We are all just
trying to do our part to gain more knowledge.  I just don't want people to blow off orbs completely at this point when we really don't know for sure.  Some sites are
claiming to be an Orb Free site, and thats fine...it just should not be the last and final word. And I don't want people to take our work as not serious because we choose
to post some orbs on here we believe to be paranormal.
1. Rain and Dust
2. Water or moisture orb.
4. Dust Orb
3. Dust Orb
5. Street Lamp Orb
7. Outer rim looks perfectly round
but upon closer inspection the
outer rim has broken lines. Has a
smaller inner orb and ridges. The
orbs color is reflecting from the
lamp light behind. This is a dust orb.
6. Street Lamp
8. So obviously a light bulb has a
perfectly round orb with no outer rim
or ridges on the inside. The color is
the color of the bulb.
9. Original photo that looks like a dust orb.
11. Close up.  This also has a face.
This is an insect.  He is cute! This one just
cracks me up. This to me is the best picture
of an insect orb ever.

Examples of dust orbs. Some of these pictures did not come out even though it says the flash fired,  but when you add the auto
correct feature from picture manager look what happens.  The red diamonds is where the picture is that did not come out. I have
come to discover though that with a high grade camera they seem to cut back on orb captures immensely even with a bad photo.
Even if you  try to correct the photo they will not have the mass orb photos we get with a "cheap digital camera". So I think the
better the camera is the less chance you have of catching these "fake orbs" (dust orbs) if you will.

This is a picture of a dust orb with a reflection. You can
actually see the reflection that has a face on the glass and
not on the front of the orb itself.
So can dust show a reflection? Apparently so. There is no
shadow and no mass to this orb. So I believe light and the
camera lens created this reflection.
Reflection on glass.  Gives you an idea
how the reflection of the flash and the
light  from the glass will refract back.
This is a picture of the Black Mariah
which is the original hearse used to
carry the dead bodies to the Boothill
Cemetery in Tombstone, AZ. People
send hundreds of photos of this
hearse saying that they are
paranormal pictures but it is hard to tell
because it is all glass and they NEVER
clean it. Clearly that is fingers but you
can see if it is a blurry picture or at just
the right angle you could turn this into
a paranormal picture when it is not.
Again, these are just examples. This is
an obvious one.
Auto correct feature used.
This one truly puzzles me. This one is just hard for me to call
because how can dust leave an energy trail? You can see a
long very faint trail behind this orb and then it swiftly changes
directions. This orb itself does have the tell tale signs of dust
looking at it close up. Even though I have never seen a dust
orb do this I still have to lean towards this picture being a
dust orb.  The orange orb behind this orb is a dust orb
reflecting light from a street lamp.
This is a dust orb.
These photos are to me what is the
difference between dust orbs and a
paranormal orb.
So we know that a dragonfly has mass and this mass we see reflects itself into a shadow.  Now we can clearly see that
this is an insect. So how does this explain the other photo that has a mass because it has a shadow but yet
we only can see an orb of light? It has no defining features it is simply an orb or rather a sphere of light. Could it be
a piece of debris? It is possible but it would have to be rather large and I believe we would be able to discern
that from the photo. Dust and rain orbs do not have this feature so I can only assume this orb (at the top of the page) to be
paranormal. Paranormal meaning we can't explain it. In my estimation of course.   :)
